ABOUT US

Changbal started in August 2014 with the goal of creating a gathering where Koreans working at tech companies in the Seattle area can learn from and interact with each other.

Today, Changbal has expanded to the Oregon and Vancouver (Canada) areas and has grown into a non-profit organization (NPO) with over 1,000 registered members, with five subgroups and various social clubs: Engineers, Startups, Women (W), Design, and Vancouver (starting in 2021).

Over the past five years, various specialized seminars and activity meetings have been held in Changbal, and various cases of finding jobs, meeting startup partners, and developing ideas into products have been created through Changbal. In addition, we are actively working as an important link between Korean companies and institutions and Seattle technology companies.
